It’s been almost two decades since the Supersuckers first appeared in our rearview mirror. This band lets us savor the flavors of rock ’n’ roll at its most timeless, from the past and present to what the future would ideally be. Few can match these guys. There are no breaks or messing around between songs: they get straight to the point and deliver the most entertainment possible. It’s never lumpy or ponderous, which is why they’ve become something of an institution. Think of them as something like Motörhead or the Ramones with a touch of Waylon, though they don’t necessarily sound like them. Supersuckers have blended that great rock sound with just the right amount of country to create something that feels familiar yet unlike anything else on the planet. Extras include their complete discography and part of a 2007 concert in Serbia.
