Gimp Fist - The Place Where I Belong (Color) - LP

Sello: Sunny Bastards

GIMP FIST celebrating their 20th anniverary and here's their birthday present: sold out for over 10 years here are the first three (official) releases available again as special collector's editions: "Your Time Has Come", "The Place Where I Belong" & "Marching On And On" each include a rare bonus track now, and come as 180gr colorued splatter vinyl! Each coloured edition is limited to only 233 copies! With their 2010 full lenght, "The Place Where I Belong," the trio underscored their status and created timeless and important classics with anthems like "Skinhead Not a Bonehead" and "Here I Stand." Socially critical assessments of society and politicians alternated with a clear commitment to the "working class" and subculture. The Ox fanzine wasn't the only one who was enthusiastic: "Hardly any skinhead band today manages to play Oi! punk as anthemically and rousingly as Cock Sparrer did in their prime. Fortunately, there are still a few exceptions to this rule, and England's GIMP FIST are one of them. For me, this is clearly the best record from this genre in a long time." Many happy returns Gimp Fist!
