The Damned - Not Like Everybody Else - LP

Sello: Earmusic

Not Like Everybody Else a deeply personal tribute to founding guitarist Brian James, who passed away in March 2025. Recorded in just five days at Revolver Studio in Los Angeles with producer Mikal Blue (OneRepublic, Jason Mraz), the album reimagines ten songs that shaped Brian's musical path and inspired the group's sound. From R. Dean Taylor's 'Ghost In My House' and Pink Floyd's 'See Emily Play' to The Animals' 'When I Was Young', each track reflects the spirit of the era that birthed them. The record closes with The Rolling Stones' 'The Last Time', featuring Brian himself, taken from vintage live recordings and lovingly remixed a fitting farewell from one of punk's true originals.
