The Beatles - Saturday Club 24th August 1963 Ep - 7"

Sello: 1960's

During a six-night run at the Gaumont Cinema in Bournemouth, the group managed to nip into London for a Saturday Club appearance on August 24th. This was the day after the official UK release date of 'She Loves You,' which they performed along with the B-side, 'I'll Get You,' for only the second time on radio. In amongst the chat on the programme, they slip in a quick rendition of 'Moonglow,' one of the songs they used to play at the Cavern while attempting to pass themselves off as a cocktail jazz combo.
